I created the Network Marketing Basics series to give beginning network marketers an edge they need to succeed in network marketing. This article will reveal an advertising source that’s been a well-kept secret among successful network marketers, affiliate marketers, and entrepreneurs alike.
I actually stumbled upon Rent-a-list.com about two years ago when I first came online. However, at the time, I had been burned and ripped off so many times I didn’t know who to trust so I did nothing even though the testimonials I read were compelling. On the recommendation of a trusted friend, I decided to run a targeted email campaign with Rent-a-list. My friend has been using them for 5 years to run his own targeted email campaign and he had nothing but good things to say about them. Still, I wasn’t expecting to see results so quickly.
Ok, so here are my results thus far for my first targeted email campaign for a Clickbank product. I chose the Internet Marketing Course category for a worldwide audience between the ages of 18 and 65. I used a unique solo ad copy to promote this affiliate product. Instead of sending my visitors straight to my affiliate link, I built a simple capture page to put interested folks on my list. (Remember, the money is in the list.) Since this was a test run, I started very small with just 100 targeted email ads for $8. I figured if my test failed, meaning I got no subscribers, I’d only be out 8 bucks. When I checked my campaign stats today, I saw that 39 people had clicked on my site. Of those 39, at least one person had subscribed to my email list. I say at least one because I can trace that person’s ip address to Rent-a-list. Besides Rent-a-list, I’ve advertised that Clickbank product on a couple of classified ads sites. I will check my website’s analytics to find out where my other subscriber came from.
I am thrilled with my results because a couple of weeks ago, I spent $22 for 1000 targeted email ads with another company and I got no results at all. When I say no results I mean that I got a whole bunch of hits to my website but no one opted in. Now, to be fair, on that particular campaign, I didn’t use a squeeze page. I just sent them through to my “framed” affiliate page. (If you don’t know what “framed” means, just leave me a comment and I’ll explain it and give you a template so you can make your own framed page.) It’s only $22 but still, I wish I had remembered Rent-a-list. I could have ran fewer ads and got better results!
Ok, on to my second targeted email campaign to 100 people that just started this afternoon around 4 pm EST. This time I’m promoting a lead and traffic system for anyone involved in a homebased business. Since I want to build my list, I designed a simple lead capture page to collect my leads. Guess what happened this time? After only 7 visitors, I got my first subscriber at 6:38 pm EST. I see only good things ahead for my business using Rent-a-list. I will keep you posted on my final stats for both programs so keep reading my blog for updates.
Rent-a-list.com is one of those services your upline will never tell you about either because they don’t know about it or they’re stuck in a time warp still promoting old-school activities that get you nowhere fast. So the next time your network marketing sponsor tells you to make a list, run immediately to Rent-a-list.com and open your free advertiser account. Their current specials for targeted email advertising is about 40% off. Check it out here and watch your mlm leads list explode in real-time.
YOU deserve success, too.
